I want to get a light bar for my Ford Escape 2008. what size is the roof bar? How to I get the brackets? How to install them? How to mount 24 inch bar somewhere near between the headlights? I'm new.

Don't do eeet, if you put holes in the roof they will leak at some point. It may be 4wd but you will break or wear out every bit of the suspension and drivetrain if you take it off road. They put the 4wd on that truck just for dirt driveways and the security of 4wd on smooth snowy roadways.
There's a 41.5" light bar I see on a photo that's mounted perfectly without holes I just don't know where to get the mounts and how to install it :/
I'm not taking it off road I just love the looks of it
If you have roof rails, you could possibly mount the light bar there. Check out http://www.carid.com/2008-ford-escape-off-road-light- mounts/
Just having some fun. I don't see how it would mount to the roof unless there are rails already from the factory. I measured 46" between the drip rails, dunno how it would be secured without the rails. As for the bumper lights you could use the factory fog lamp power as the low amp side of a relay to power them up.
Would there be another link to that? I cannot access it
I honestly can't find anything on the Internet on how to do this.. I'm not about to pay a few grand to put lights on my car..
