Yeah I tried some detergent and water and it worked temporarily but the stains just keep coming back.
Try renting a carpet steam cleaner and using that? They're not just for carpets.

Well diluted tide isn't bad for the dirty sports. Don't scrub hard, blot and dab with diluted Tide and let dry almost all the way. Then take a really damp cloth and make the entire seat evenly damp. Then let it dry but the thing that I think works best is kinda funny. To clean the seats you need Glass cleaner in an aerosol can. It's gotta be the glass cleaner in the aerosol can. Really the only thing that cleans them but don't soak them with the cleaner, go easy with it then blot and dab.

The reason you keep cleaning and it won't come out is because it is MOLD. You have to kill it. My wife has a 2008 Escape with tan seats and it looked like a nightmare! I used TILEX and within 5 minutes the passenger seat looked like new. You have to spray lightly and evenly. The rear seats (where my daughter sits) took 2 treatments. Remember that this has bleach in it to kill the mold. Do not sit on the seats until completely dry. You may want to vacuum the seats once the stains disappear. Good Luck.
