engine and gear oil

If you have the manual for the vehicle, it will tell you. Remember, the grade/type oil you use is based on the mileage of the car and driving conditions. Under normal driving condition and if the vehicle is still under 120,000 miles, I would use, if available, synthetic oil (Mobil, Shell, Castrol, or any good brand), grade 5W-30. If you have high miles or drive long distances where there is lots of dust or use the vehicle for work, I would use 10W-40. And of course, change the oil and filter every 3,000 miles or sooner. Hope this helps.
I forgot to mention the gear box fluid. If you have automatic transmission, use Mercon ATF. If you have manual transmission use ST-M5-QS or WSD-M2C200-C. I checked my shop manuals and found the address of the Ford Dealership in Zambia, in case that you do not have it; they can help you with questions: Corner of Sheki Sheki Road and Great North Road, Plot No. 9558 Sheki Sheki Road Emmasdale, Lusaka 10101, Zambia, +260 21 1240767.
