Hi there. I've got civic 57 reg diesel. Sometimes when I start it "check engine" sign comes on and there is also strange noise when I start it( not always although). I've been to Honda main dealer twice and had service done, they could not detect any problem.does anyone have any clue what the problem might be? Thanks

I have a 2000 Honda Civic Ex that the engine light is coming on. I took it to have the codes read and it came up CSF sensor so I replaced it but the light is still on. I have taken it to so many places and it is now not showing any codes!!! The ECU has been reset and the battery cables have been disconnected and reconnected. What could be the problem? About 3 weeks ago I went to start up my 2009 Honda Civic Sedan lx and lights came on and everything but wouldn't start. On the third time trying to start it none of the lights came on, so I changed the battery. I tried starting it with the new battery, all lights came on perfectly, but it wouldn't turn over. I changed the starter and the car ran fine with no problems for maybe 2 weeks. This morning I was driving down the road when the check engine light came on and the engine suddenly started to rev up uncontrollably. I was able to brake but it was very hard to do because the engine kept revving. Without my foot on the brake the car was going 30 something mph, when I braked and got below 15 I felt a hard downshift. Has anyone had these simliar problems or know what might have cause this kind of behavior? 3 Answers

2005 Honda Civic Radio and AC will not power on. I am worried more about the AC. I checked the underdash fuses and they seem to be ok. Any suggestions? I have no power to AC and it stinks! 1 Answer

i have a 04 honda civic i drive everyday went to work this morning no problem.. when i tried leaving work car starts up every time but after 2 seconds if that it dies out... also tried holding down pedal and rpm goes up but still dies out and can hear like putty noise from exhaust fuel pump sounds like its working and i can see from engine it shoots out.... what can this be? 1 Answer
