Mini Cooper check engine light
I have a 2007 Mini Cooper s. I owned it for about three months when the check engine
light came on and it went into limp mode. The throttle body was replaced. About 14
months later, the same thing happened. Throttle body was replaced again. About six
months later same thing. The technician said the diagnostic tool was identifying the
problem as the trhottle body again. This time, they replaced the TB sensor. Six months
later....same problem, same diagnosis. This time they replaced the gas pedal sensor.
Two weeks later...it happened yet again! This time they are thinking that it must be the
engine's computer.....about $ 2000. Is there any other possible explanation before I
spend that much money on top of what I have already invested?
