07 jetta is overheating while idle but not while driving?

whenever i have to idle for an extend period of time my 07 jetta while overheat but once i start driving agian it will go back to normal temp.

i had some front in damage and the fan shroud is broke and one of the fans dont work.so my a/c only works when its running..i was thinking that i know i need to get a new fan shroud and fan but..it just recently started overheating while idling so i wasnt sure if it was the same reason..and if it is i guess that means i need to find the parts cheap somewhere

After you change the shroud and fan if it still doesn't turn on then check the coolant temp sensor because they are also critical for proper fan operation.

my 07vw jetta wolfburgh is overheating
My 2009 Jetta 2.5 is overheating at idle. Cooling censor and thermostat been changed and fans are working
