Why is my 5.0 shifting hard

Bought 5.0 few weeks ago and one thing I
was told was a racing clutch has been put
on, it gets tricky to put in reverse but shifted
relatively smooth for regular gears, up until
I drive on a hot day today and hard a f**k to
shift in traffic, especially to 1st gear, the
other day I got my fluids checked at jiffy
lube, had them check my tranny, it's a
5speed btw. And they said it's leaking very
little but it's full.

I always been sceptical on how they go through this whole check list a page long for the signature oil change, checking all the fluids..for my jeep they some how checked literally all the fluids and changed oil in 20mins

Update....now that it's cooler out it shifts alot better, I'm not forcing it
racing clutch my eye! I'll bet that it's a worn out clutch!

I don't plan on upgrading the engine, just rebuilding it in the future
