differance between lx and gt

lx was either a coupe (notchback) or a hatchback car without the ground effects on a gt. The lx was also offered with the 2.3 four cylinder and the 5.0 v8 but the gt was only offered with the v8. If you found a lx coupe car with an original 5.0 v8 then you have found a hard to come by car as most of the coupes were 4 cylinders

Zach is correct but to add to your question the differences he outlined would apply mainly to the 1987 thru 1993 foxbody modle Mustangs. If you find a coupe with an original V-8 and it's in good condition snap it up fast!

and not only that but a 5.0 lx is also lighter than a gt, hebnce quicker

Question I recently bought a all origanal 1993 fox body lx with origanal 5.0 engine everything is bone stock with less then 150000 miles but my driver fender both my doors and rear bumper needs replacement but I want to keep it looking as original as possible how could I and where should i look for lx body parts?

Also I live in San Francisco so could anyone give me some advice on how do I uptain origanal lx body parts
