T-Tops

Hello, This is a very difficult number to find. According to a Mustang registry, (http://www.mustanggt.org/stats.htm#roof), 28% of 1987 registered GT's were T-Tops. There were a total of 37,088 GT's. By my math, that puts T tops at about 10,384, but this is just an estimate. Best of luck! CarGrrl

28%!?!?! No way...there are no accurate number(s) on the number of 87/88 Ttop Mustangs produced. The only thing we DO know is that is, whatever number of Convertibles produced in these years, ALSO includes the Ttops. Ford bunched the 2 together, which was silly. They are rare, in that when you go to a large Foxbody car show, there may only be 2-3 87-88 Ttops Mustangs in attendance. THIS tells me what I need to know...that they are rare, but there are no numbers out there to truly reflect "how" rare.

Exact number is known..7314 made for 87 GT (over 19.7% of total 87 GT production). The number was not part of convertible number.
