where I can I find the stripe

my father purchased an 83 mustang gt, back in 1987. It had a stripe that went down the side of the car and over the roof. Every single model 83 that I've ever seen does not have this stripe. The stripe made the car. I now own a 87 gt and I would like to put that same stripe on my car, but I can't find any record of it anywhere; just old pics of his. I would like to know if there is anyway I could get my hands on it.
