95 Legend White Smoke

Asked by FNG1995 Aug 26, 2019 at 11:52 AM about the 1995 Acura Legend L Coupe FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Car has white smoke coming from exhaust but the coolant levels in reservoir and radiator seem to be fine. Overheats when idling. CEL for EGR is on. Am I about o blow a head gasket or should I just replace thermostat

I would say a compression test is in order. White smoke is almost always coolant in the cylinders. I don't think a thermostat will fix your problem.
