68 mustang front right shock will not line up have to pull it over on the top end to line up in the shock tower what could be wrong.

I hope this is not the case ... but your front end could be tweaked or someone could have removed the inner fender at one time and failed to mark it for reassembly ...

check the condition of your lower control arm bushings , if they are shot it could cause misalignment also ...
