will 17x9 with a 5 by 4, 5 lug pattern wheel fit on my 73 fastback?

I am looking to swap out my stock 14's with a set of 2003 mach 1 rims. they are 17x9 with 5 by 4, 5 lug pattern. Will these fit? Oh, thay have 245's on them as well.

Check this site, the way I am reading it, it looks like they will fit, if you can make up for the increased rim size with a lower profile tire: http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse.com/Ford___Vehicle_Bolt_Pattern_Reference.cfm

im not sure on this one but im old school i like the 8 inch with bands and centers the 8 inch magnum 500 14 or 15 inch wheels.

Your 73' has a 5 by 4.5 in. bolt pattern, but you should be able to find an adapter on ebay so you can use those wheels.
