What did the mechanic say? They must have tried to test drive the car after the repair.

He just said it doesn't move, i haven't gone to see the car yet and Im not a mechanic but would it be something with the transmission or the gearbox?

Is it possible that there is damage to the any of the following: pressure plate, flywheel, clutch disc, or perhaps another component involved with the clutch assembly? Was this work done by a Ford Service Tech or neighborhood mechanic? For him to say "It just doesn't move" is pretty lame on his part, IMO...without being able to explain WHY it won't move.

I bought the whole clutch kit but I honestly don't know if anything wlse was damaged, he was a neighborhood mechanic

Sounds like the input shaft snapped, going from 5th to 2nd gear can put a tremendous load on the internals..

Everything SNAPPED. Replace the Driveshaft , Clutch & Flywheel Have engine removed & cleared of any loose parts where the Driveshaft & Manual Transmission meet / Engine Block Probably need to flush brake line , reset the pistons (maybe replaced some) , have exhaust heads inspected for any damage / wear & Have system re-timed for running condition. & Be nice next time.
