2004 Ford Explorer NO POWER

I replaced a dead battery in my 2004 Ford Explorer.
After replacing the battery I tried to start the
vehicle. It started to turn over then I heard a loud
popping sound and now I have absolutely no
power. HELP

Check the battery polarity. You may have hooked it up backwards. If you did, another battery will be needed to replace this one,

Battery was connected properly. Bought & installed new battery still no power.
