Driver's rear, front or just the engine?

We'll just be having a billiards game in the study, in the meantime~
its and awd and the leaking appears to be on the bottom of the strut/joint area. not sure what type of fluid. as i know nothing about cars. i appreciate all input. i dont want to get taken advantage of at the machanics
what color is the fluid? if its like a dark color greyesh black sounds like a bad half shaft and the boot is cut/worn and grease is coming out from spinning and if its red its brake fluid. also JUDGE ROY I thing for YOU to make a statement making fun of handicap people is very inappropriate and it really shows what type of person you really are and your true colors..... hope this helps
the fluid is dark. i kind of thought along those lines but could it be the bearings?
im thinking bearings is kinda like a growling and the shaft is like a clicking.... hope this helps
hopefully its the shaft seeing that the boot is leaking... boots are not cheap but if the shaft is bad it comes with a boot.. 2 birds 1 stone...
Well, lets see. You struck a crater at who knows what speed resulting in a fluid leak and clicking noise coming from a mechanical piece that was not there before. Obviously this is not a JB Weld repair accompanied with a pint or quart of the proper lubricant. I don't believe you have to be worried about being taken to the cleaners by a mechanic. You're already standing at the garage door naked holding your clothes in your hands asking; can you fix them.
if it is a half shaft I would ask the nearest local owned shop not your local Bell Tire how much to put one in if you buy the part.. some of our local owned shops will do that to keep your business.. at least then it will seem like you know what your talking about and they wont hopefully wont take advantage of you and you can walk in and out with clothes on... hope this helps
people find a way to currrupt everything. i tried to upload a few photos but thanks
have the ball joint looked at asap could have broke damaged it bad... very dangerous so better safe then sry.. not saying its not the shaft but from the pics. its 1 of the 2. Some ball joints will make a clicking when bad.. hope this helps... and be safe
also can you see a tear in the boot ? the grease should be a little thicker where it is or might be damaged. again hope this helps..
