What's compatible with 2004 ford 4.0 motor

Will the alternator and serpentine belt fit off the 4.5 on
the 4.0 motor

Don't use a old serpentine belt. Look up the alternator on a car parts site and see what cars/engines it fits.

There is no 4.5 in a current Ford. Perhaps you mean 4.6? No the belts will not interchange. Not sure about the alternator.
