Over drive blinking

Don't know how much this will help. My 2003 was doing the exact same thing. The same tranny shop has been servicing my vehicles for thirty years. Call the owner and explained the problem. Told to bring it in when light was blinking and don't shut off the engine. He hooked his computer to the plugin inside the vehicle and told me to sit and read a magazine, he would sent his runner to get the part. Forty-five minutes later I was on the road again for about a hundred bucks. All I know is it was some electronic part on the outside of the computer costing about 20 bucks. He changed it and I was on the road. I suggest a mom and pop tranny shop around for a long while. Stay away from franchise shops.

Correction. Outside the transmission, not the computer.
