2003 Ford Explorer XLT alarm keeps going off

Asked by Jesus Jun 09, 2021 at 12:52 AM about the 2003 Ford Explorer XLT V6 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My car alarms keeps on randomly going off, the
door ajar light use to be on but I put wd40 on the
switches and I have no problem with the door ajar
but this still did not fix my problem, the alarm still
goes off. I don’t know what else could be triggering
the alarm. Please help, me and my neighbors will
be really grateful. Thank you.

click on the pic to enlarge. If the horn is the alarm, pull the horn fuse, in diagram, that should stop it. Of course that isn't the proper fix, but, maybe the neighbors won't get mad at you? good luck
