How hard is it to change the blower motor in my
2001 explorer sport it's making a terrible noise only
when you turn the fan on

Most just unbolt from the firewall. Then just swap the motor/impeller from the mounting plate and reinstall. Sometimes just a shot of lubricant around the motor bearings will cure it for a while.
