2006 Accord EX won't start

Asked by GatorDawg Aug 07, 2019 at 06:23 AM about the 2006 Honda Accord EX

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2006 Accord ex won't start when I try to crank. The
dash comes on when I put the key in, but when I try to crank
each time the key goes from I to II or to III it shuts
everything down. At first if I held the key to crank it made a
buzzing sound, but now it doesn't make any sound.

Check battery connections and your underhood grounds. There will be one that goes from the engine to the radiator support and one that goes from the engine compartment wall to the the starter area. If they're not broken, unbolt them and check for corrosion, as a dab or dialectric grease, reattach.
