I have a 2003 dodge durango. Car( all of it) has charge even with battery disconnected???

We had transmission replaced by AAmaco. They said that there was a 12 volt to body,
chassi and engine with battery disconnected.What is going on?? They already got
2000.00 out of me.

got two batteries on board?....no I don't like it either...should have been 12.5 volts with a new fully charged battery...if older than five years old is ripe for replacement as the new tin/antimony alloy batteries will only last about five years as their ability to accept a charge reduces 10 percent per year....so get a NEW battery~.....latent charge? I don't think so...they outta they mind~
