Engine not firing

Hi my name is jack my friends told me that u
guys know your stuff... So I have a 02
Durango 4.7 and motor was no good but
found another motor out of a 2006 dodge
cew can which was also a 4.7 and I
switched them out now I get get any fire and
I have one word under intake that I don't go
to my harnes can u help.?

Are you getting any codes? The 4 year difference in engines may have a different algorithm .. the word (I suspect you mean "wire") has a color code .. Auto Zone provides excellent wiring diagrams to members ... match the color on the wire to one in the diagram ... if you only changed the engine and not the ECU ... the key should still work

Swapping engines in the computer age can really cause headaches if you don't use the same year engines or don't swap all the necessary parts.
