how do i rate a dealer?
I drove 150 miles to see a car advertised by a dealer in Oregon as in an excellent condition. once i checked the car at VW dealer i found out that the car was not safe to drive back to Seattle.

this is the risk you take by looking at cars on a personally owned dealer that is not a big time car company owned. In most cases the cars they get may look decent but most of them will have already been run into the ground before you get it. im glad you were smart enough to have it inspected first tho. If you want a used Audi go to an Audi dealer and find out what they have whole sale or used cause i guarantee it will be in much better shape then any back lot dealer. and some of the vw/audi dealers do sell whole sale i got my Audi for 1100 a few years back at an Audi dealer. drove it for a whole year before it really started to have all the parts ware out on it and mostly im sure is due to my own fault :P
