03 5.3L Tahoe Oil Pressure Switch

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

before replacing the sending switch, had either 80 Lbs or Zero Lbs of
oil pressure.
after changing the sensor, I only have 40 Lbs pressure.
Why?
no, I did not know about the damn screen, so it is still there I assume.

I'm am not sure what year they started putting that screen in, I thought about 2005, but 40 lbs is good if thats where it runs.
