wont start

My 2002 chevy tahoe 2 wheel drive 5.3
been running just fine drive home from
work set till nxt morning turns over but
wont start im getting fire and i can hear
the fuel pump come on but still wont start
not sure what is up fuel rails have gas in
them whats up any help?

Just because you hear the pump come on does not mean it is pumping the correct fuel pressure for the vehicle to start. Have fuel pressure tested. If checks out ok maybe no power going to injectors. Test for power with a noid light.

Pressure should be 56 to 63 lbs at the schrader valve on the intake manifold.

Look at cam position sensor , it’s under the dist. cap and roter have to spin engine to line slot up to get it out . Sometimes they have a hair line crack that you can see in the plastic sometimes you can’t see anything. Mine was bad and took me for ever to figure it out maybe this will save you the headake I had to endure.
