If your radio and dash lights are all working, your starter may be bad. First make sure that it's not a bad battery. Put a volt meter on it and see what your are getting for volts with the engine off. Make sure all connections are tight and clean and grounds are also clean. If still getting a no start, have someone hold the key to the ON position. As they do that, rap the starter with a hammer. If it suddenly turns over, your starter is bad. Post back with findings. If it still won't start, will give you some more suggestions to test.

If you turn the key on, does the radio and head lights work?
But when I contact the two red wires toghter the lights come on now I'm trying to see what other wires I need to connect for it to start
Are you still putting in the ignition switch? If not, what wires are you putting together?
Check the fuses sometime your starter fuse located in the driver side of the hood it worked for mine
