This VW has the oil filter container that requires a heavy paper type element, Not the traditional type of spin on. What kind of wrench will losen this cotainer? Thanks, TJC

I found online that it's a 72-74mm 14 flats oil filter wrench.

Is it suggested that an oil flush be done for 70,000 miles when oil changes are done every 3,000 miles? and what type oil should be used?

The container is grey and pretty small. It had a 1/4 turn top on it. It is towards the front of the motor.

I just bought a vw 2006 beetle. I noticed it has started leaking oil. If you are standing in front of the vehicle the leak is on the left hand side. It is about middle of the left side.
