oil pitt in my town put gasket wrong

I got a oil change last Tue. went straight
home, next day headed to Nashville, got
100 miles down the road, oil lite and
buzzer sounds, I pull over, ckeck oil, zero
oil,  I always carry a extra quart, I put in
and called the oil pit who did the work,
they wanted me to wait on side of road in
95 heat for a tow truck, tow me back, so
they can see thir work, I said no, there a
station 3 miles ahead I put a quart in it
and I would have the mechanic that fixes
the problem to call them, they did, oil pitt
dening they put in upside down. new
mechanic says they did and will vouch for
me in court,where I am headed tomarrow,
I went to the Oil Pitt today with receipt of
235$ enforce, high yes, it was a deseil
shop. they refused to pay and we're so
rude I almost got in a physical altercation.
my question is, what if any, damages has
my 06 new beetle gas 94000 miles car
going to have,
because I want to seek this as well in
court.
I did make it to Tennessee and back
yesterday,  car seemed ok..I just need to
be sure, thank you if you can advise me
