Bad stoplight switch, or wires going to it. It's down at the bottom of the brake pedal where it connects to the booster, under the dash. It's a safety lock feature. If you look, I bet your stop lights aren't working. If they are, it's another problem.Switch doesn't cost much, but a bit of crawling on the floor.
