I was on a short drive to local market and
car was running fine, after stopping for a
light the engine sounded like I was driving
on a flat tire.  Very loud knocking and engine
light started blinking.  Help

Thank you, Hoping that be the problem, for the engine to go from a purring to loud in a matter of minutes is alarming. I found a friend who has a mechanic cousitowho will have a look this weekend is somewhat a relief. Still a little unsettling since money is tight at the moment. Thank you again.
