2004 Mercury Marquis ls LCM

Asked by Christopher Sep 08, 2016 at 02:09 PM about the 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis LS Premium

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I had my LCM replaced on my 2004
Mercury Grand Marquis ls 2 yrs ago the
14th day of Aug. Now it has went out
again, even though my 2yr warranty has
expired even if it hasn't expired they still
wouldn't replace it. Ford should replace it
out of good faith. But just because it has
290,000 miles they refuse to fix it. Bs is
what I call it. Ford is full of it. If it lasted
from 2003-2014 then why come it only
lasted two years after the replacement.
They full of bs.

290,000 miles and you are whining about a part gone bad? Go buy another LCM and install it.

Ford now has a recall on your module and if you still have the receipt they will reimburse you for it as well
