2003 Town Car Signature Premium Electrical problem

Asked by GuruZFFTW Dec 08, 2017 at 04:42 PM about the 2003 Lincoln Town Car Signature Premium

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2003 Lincoln Town Car Signature Premium. Great car. 68,000
original miles.Cleaned the battery terminals a week ago and ever since the
"air suspension" light stays on on the dash, power steering is out, drivers
seat controls won't work nor will will the mirror controls. Switches are lighting
up. I have changed all fuses interior and exterior and fusible links. I also
tested them all. They are good. I even bought a new battery...still those 4
things are not working. Any ideas?

treat each problem by themselves, don't blame the symptoms on cleaning the battery terminals. There was a recall on the upper and lower steering columns, if faulty it feels like the power steering is faulty. Seat switch on drivers door might have worn out, as well as mirror control switch, BUT if you left the drivers window open during a rain storm, consider switches have shorted out. Good luck, you can still sell your car to me.....
