Question type: Maintenance & Repair

The driver side rear passenger body weatherstripping is detaching from the body - it appears age related and looks like it is simply pressed into the door frame. a)How difficult a task is it to remove and replace - is it as simple as pulling off the old and pressing in the new?

Usually it is pretty easy to replace door opening weather stripping. The metal grippers inside the weather strip eventually give up.

Does this mean that it is as simple as 'pulling' the old weather stripping out (via the 'metal grippers') and pushing the new weather stripping into place?
