Samiaallen, I would suggest visiting Kelly Blue Book at kbb.com or Edmunds.com for pricing information. Not sure if you are trading in a vehicle but many factors determine the trade-in value of a vehicle's mileage, exterior and interior condition, features, and model popularity. I live in NY and have found I can get almost the same car or even one with more features by looking in a 250 mile radius. I am talking about a min of 3000+ difference in price, definitely worth a 3-4 hour drive. Just make sure you go on a weekday, in the morning, do if you buy they can the paperwork you need to drive it home from the local DMV.
