living with a rx8 in a Canadian winter

I am looking into getting into a mazda rx8 the idea of limited to no traction does
not bother me i want to know what would be problems that the cold would bring
to the 13b and what would help keep it running well and strong to be a semi
"reliable" daily driver weather its premixing or a block heater ext ext. any and all
help is much appreciated!

in my aria they do not do any emissions testing but they do care about having a cat and if it is throwing any codes regarding not what the emissions out the tail pipe are

The smart move is to get a winter car such as a Subaru and save the sports car for the summer.
