I bought my 2004 TL in 2008 with 49k miles. It's about to hit 121k miles in the next few days and I've had nothing major go wrong with it. Just routine maintenance. Keep in mind the timing belt has to be changed at the 105k service. Depending on where you go it will cost anywhere from $500 to $1500.
