Question type: Maintenance & Repair

ok where to start. My service 4 wheel drive came on. The light on the dash nobe is not on. I checked all fuses, changed the dash switch. still not working. checked voltage in actuator yhe only one i was getting a reading from was the pink wire even when i changed it into 4hi. Dont know if that is normal, didnt get any voltage readings from any of the other 3 wires. So i went and bought a actuator and  changed that. Still not working.
Any solutions to trouble shooting from here would be appreactated. thanks

need a scan tool to the codes just as you do for engine diagnostics, even if actuator was the prblem you need to clear codes and reset system for to work properly

The problem was actually the TCCM. I change that out and got the truck re flashed at the dealer. The flash cost me 1 hour of labor. 4x4 works now and the other good thing is I know all the parts are new. Lol

Does anyone have any suggestions why my 4x4 doesn’t work on my 2007 Silverado 1500? No lights or nothing is on, when i put low 4x4 traction control and stabilitrack turns off.
