Fuel system

Asked by Guru5QDMT Jan 23, 2018 at 12:14 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Extended Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My truck has been having sensor issues.
Recently I had a diagnostics run and said I
needed to replace the throtel body ,
Throtel/pedal position sensor and 2 other
sensors. After changing all but the
throtel/pedal position sensor the truck was
running great. This morning I went to start
the truck for work and it would not start. I
was thinking maybe the fuel pump was bad
but can hear it running after turning key to
start position. Anyone have an idea what
may be the issue?

if a code came up for the TPS that's what I would have replaced , the code tells you where the problem is not what to replace , one bad sensor may trigger other codes

Thank you Mark for the information. The coder recommended I changed the Throtel body and gave me an indication that the Throttle Pedal position sensor has had a history. I've only had the truck for 7 months and received the car fax and maintenance records from Lithia in Tri-City's Washington but there was no mention of this. Anyway thanks for your help .
