Truck has power but no crank ??

I am having the same problem. Good battery and connections. Truck died once yesterday then was able to restart after about 5 minutes. Today it started and ran and a few minutes into driver there was no power. It' didnt die out but you could press the pedal to the floor and it would not go over 30 mph then dropped down wouldn't go over 5mph. RPM's stayed low.
