Not a good idea, all you are doing is fool the computer into thing the engine is running colder than it is, all that does is add more fuel, not worth the effort and could cause other problems.
you may screw up the computer. most of that stuff on ebay etc is crap. if you are looking for increased performance, get a programmer and do it right.
