Starter problems

Have a 07 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 with a 5.7L was
driving it one day and it was running fine, went back
to it three minutes later and wouldn't start. Put a
new starter in it and it has a good battery but won't
even kick over

The dash light do not dim when turning it over? And all battery terminals & wires are good and ground from engine block to frame is good as-well as from battery to frame? Ignition switch check out fine?
