why is it when am doing 60mph my rpm are readed 3

The faster you go the more times the engine has to revolve per minute. 3000 rpm sounds about right for fourth/fifth gear in a small car at that speed. According to what trans you have. Did it use to do more or less? Are you having drivability issues? Or just wondering if it is doing as it should?

it depends on your transmission on a integra 60 mph with a stock transmission they sit at 1500 at 60 mph when I bought my 93 integra it had a b18a1 with a b16 transmission and it sits at 3000 rpm at 60 mph so it could be that its a swiped transmission.
