I have a 2007 Ram 1500 5.7 Hemi

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

While driving it jerked hard while shifting into 3rd gear & would not shift into o/d.
Stopped truck & restarted but it would not down shift into 1st. Turned off engine, restarted & it shifted from 1st gear but stuck in 3rd again & engine light came on. I let it set for a while & it shifts good & engine light is off, but the problem is intermittant now.

Could be your TCM. has your TRANS TEMP light come on any time recently?
