Window Failure Chevy Silverado 2500 Diesel

Asked by Jvniorrr Oct 20, 2018 at 12:47 PM about the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD Work Truck Crew Cab 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I recently purchased a chevy silverado 2007 duramax 6.6 and was told the windows were not
working. The drivers side window and drivers side rear window work, however the passenger
side windows don't work (right side). I added the window part for the 2 windows which do not
work (passengers side) and they still do not seem to be working. When I click the button to try
and lower the window i can hear a click coming from passenger and drivers however no
movement. Clicking from either side I can hear a click so don't think its my switches. I have
checked my fuses and they seem to be fine not sure what else it could be. Could someone
help me please and thank you. I added a photo of the engine compartment fuses. The fuses
inside the vehicle all seem to be fine, so not sure if its a fuse in the enginge compartment.

May want to remove the door panels to see what is happening with the window regulators. Something might just be off track or a gear is stripped/loose. You would also be able to test for electrical power right at the motor to eliminate lack of power as a cause.
