Why is my clutch pedal almost to the floor with no play

Asked by Firstdibbs Sep 18, 2015 at 10:48 PM about the 1990 Acura Legend LS Sedan FWD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Wasn't like that yesterday - now all of a sudden the clutch doesn't engage
until its to the floor and it comes up about 3 inches n thats it.  I feel no
resistance to it now.  Its 1990 Acura Legend 4 door manuel transmission 6
speed. Any and all suggestions much appreciated.

Not sure on these, but clutch systems work all pretty much the same, Possible slave cylinder gone out, throw-out bearing, pressure plate, & may just need adjusting.
