I have a 2008 F-350 that the intrument panel shut down while driving then randomly comes back on. If speed up it will come on. the Battery-ABS lights will come on. Radio stays on. Any one have this before?

Sadan, there are plenty of variables that can have an effect on the cluster. Did this start after any dash or wiring repairs? I.E. ignition switch or turn signal/lighting issues. If nothing was done that might have caused your concern the most likely cause is the cluster itself. Try to rule out some of the obvious things such as wiggling on the ignition switch while the vehicle is running to make sure that the switch isn't worn allowing it to turn into accessory momentarily. Also try the old fashioned fist bang on the top of the dash when it happens to see if something hasn't worked its way loose over the years.

Mine started doing it and I had to have the cluster replaced and programmed to the truck . Was fine but the last week or so when I start it first thing in the morning, the cluster comes on and soon as the glow plug light goes out it starts fine BUT the cluster, radio and wipers take a few seconds to re energize with the wipers taking up to 2 minutes!. Had it a year and the only other issue I gad with it was the turn/ dimmer switch going bad AND the replacement followed suit. Hoping the cluster isn't taking the same path. The dealerships around here don't stock them and it takes a week for that expensive part to arrive. Hopefully you'll find something easier and cheaper.
