It may be something with the shift cable or linkage. If the vehicle thinks it's in reverse it will not start. Try starting the vehicle in neutral. You will probably have to have it looked at by a mechanic so they can verify the shift cable/linkage is properly adjusted.
I did that everything is adjusted right still saying it's in reverse when it's In park. Still no start no crank
