When I filled the gas tank on my 2008 Grand Marquis, the fuel gauge did not show it was full. When driving, the fuel gauge slowly raise the reading of the fuel until it showed full. Any ideas why?

I have this problem also, 2008 Grand Marquis. Although I just had the gauge go to empty while driving and the check engine light came on. Fuel level sensor code. I also have a slow leak in a back tire. My tpms warning light was on. As soon as I filled the tire to proper pressure; the check engine light went off and my gauge read full again. I have the wierdest proplems with this car!
