Keyless door code

Asked by Keturah Sep 28, 2019 at 11:45 AM about the 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis LS

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2008 Grand Marquis. I didn't have the
keyless code to the door and it wasn't on the trunk
(the only thing there was the vin and a 4 digit
number but I'm being told the code is supposed to
have 5 digits)I took the door panel of and looked
at the module and NO KEY CODE! I believe the
previous owner had the module replaced and
whoever did it didn't put the sticker on the new
one. How do I find out what this code is and how
to I know that the power to the keyless code pad
has power going to it? Does it work on the same
fuse (module) as the regulator switch plate ?

Look in the manual for the number to the vehicle. Also check with Ford dealer.
